Make every conversation feel more natural.
Practical 1:1 Zoom coaching so you can open discussions, keep them moving, and speak English with more ease — at work, while travelling, or in a child’s first classes.
New here? Start Here opens the Fluency Fit Check — a few short questions about your goals and where English feels difficult. It takes about three minutes, costs nothing, and I reply within 48 hours with the class built for you.
“The goal is not perfect English. It’s confident connection.”
Fluent conversation is a skill you can build.
Conversations become easier when you have the language, structure, and confidence to take the first step. Coaching focuses on useful English you can apply immediately — not memorised lines that feel unnatural.
Start with confidence
Learn practical ways to open discussions and move past the hesitation of finding the perfect first sentence.
Build your topic range
Develop vocabulary and conversation patterns for travel, hobbies, workplace chat, current events, and everyday life.
Sound more natural
Practise expressing yourself in a relaxed, authentic way while improving fluency and reducing pauses.
Four ways to work together, all live on Zoom.
Every lesson is one-to-one and taught by Pieter directly. Pick the one that matches what you need right now, or book more than one.
Interview Skills
A mock interview for a real role — structured answers under pressure. Not Small Talk.
Travel Expressions
The journey: airport, immigration, the airplane — when the plan breaks. Not the city after you land.
Destination Expressions
After you arrive: a named city or region — streets, shops, local English. Not the flight.
Two Zoom classes, split by whether your child already reads.
One named teacher, live on Zoom, with a parent always welcome in the room.
Young Learners
Ages 7–12 who already read Korean. One 60-minute Zoom: conversation, reading, writing, listening. Parent welcome; an adult must be home.
Very Young Learners
Ages 4–8, playful and spoken only. Two 30-minute Zoom times in the week, booked as one pair. Same six safeguards as Young Learners.
Parents are welcome to sit in on the first class. Not sure which course to start with? Send a message and we’ll work it out together.
The questions every parent should ask. Answered before you ask them.
Before you book any online tutor — me or anyone else — these are the six things worth knowing. Ask them of every teacher you consider. Here are my answers, in writing, in advance.
You are never asked to leave the room.
Sit in on any lesson, at any time, without asking and without giving a reason. I encourage it for the first lesson, and you are welcome at every lesson after that.
A parent must be home. It is a condition of booking.
A parent, guardian, or other responsible adult must be present in the home and reachable for the whole of every lesson. Not a suggestion — a requirement.
I will never contact your child privately.
Not by KakaoTalk, WhatsApp, email, social media, a gaming platform, or any other channel. Every message goes through you.
Your child is never asked to keep a secret.
If I say something in a lesson, you are entitled to know about it. Any adult who asks a child for secrecy is a warning sign — and that includes me.
One teacher. One link. One time.
Every lesson is taught by me, on the Zoom link sent to your email, at the time booked. I will never rearrange a lesson by asking your child.
Cameras on. Nothing recorded.
My camera stays on for the full lesson and I ask that your child’s does too. I do not record children’s lessons unless you ask me to, in writing, beforehand.
Available for inspection on request. Ask, and I will send it to you — along with documentation of any qualification listed on this site.
A first name, an age, an approximate English level. I do not ask for a surname, home address, school name, date of birth, or photograph. Please do not send them.
If I ever form a reasonable belief that a child is at risk, I will act on it — even where that is uncomfortable for me or for this business. Any concern you raise is acknowledged within 48 hours. All of it is set out in full, in plain language, in the safeguarding statement.
More than words. A stronger sense of connection.
With the right practice, English conversations can become opportunities rather than obstacles.
Less hesitation
Feel ready to contribute without overthinking every sentence.
Useful vocabulary
Expand the language you need for real conversations.
Natural fluency
Practise rhythm, phrasing, and responses that sound like you.
Everyday confidence
Carry your progress into work, travel, and social settings.
“Confidence grows through conversation.”
